Southland's Chinese Dual Language Immersion Program is open to all first grade students, free of charge, regardless of whether or not a student lives within Southland's typical school boundaries, and with or without previous experience with the Chinese language.
Students spend half of their school day studying academic subjects in Chinese, and the other half of the day studying academic subjects in English.
Students enter the DLI program at Southland Elementary in First Grade, and then continue their education in the Chinese Language and Bridge programs at Oquirrh Hills Middle School and Riverton High School.
